Movies to watch

Post by Flamepc on Wed Jun 25, 2014 6:06 am

What are some movies you guys love and would suggest others to watch? Why?

For me, my most favorite movie has to be Shawshank Redemption because it has Morgan Freeman in it. However, there was no moral of the story, no action, no thrill. I like it because it felt casual and easy to watch. I would say more, but I'd spare you the wall of text.

Hayao is a great director/producer. His movies are very family friendly and kind of soft for my taste. I don't hate them though. And Lex, why do you like it so much? Like what's the ups and downs?

Few movies have stayed imprinted over my mind or have made me feel "awesome time spent" .. I remember some titles like..

1. Momento
2. The prestige
3. What things may come (I think)

I like movies with a nice twist that's not too predictable

I'm a certified couch potato. Here are some of my favorites (though some of them are really underrated):

1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
2. Requiem for a Dream
3. Fight Club
4. Salt
5. Battleship
6. Cold Eyes (Korean)
7. Before Midnight (and also Before Sunrise and Before Sunset)
8. REC 1 & 2 (Spanish)
9. Jeux d'enfants (French)
10. Kill Bill

There's another that I'd like to recommend: Miracle in Cell No. 7.
It's a Korean movie but it's really good.

The movies above are not actually ranked but those are the first I remembered, so yeah just try watching them all. Wink
